This textbook has been prepared in accordance with the curriculum and training program for law students at law schools, taking into account contemporary requirements and advances in legal scholarship and pedagogy. The combination of what are essentially two separate subjects has shaped the specific logical and structural organization of this textbook. The author has incorporated contemporary approaches to both the subject of legal deontology and professional ethics. Each topic includes a concise overview of key issues, primary and supplementary resources for study, questions for assessment and self-evaluation, case studies and test questions, and appendices.
The second part of the textbook contains the course syllabus, topics for seminars and exams, and a list of exam questions.
